2013 Annual Meeting presentation

The Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista Condominium Owners Association held their annual meeting on January 12, 2013. Owner directors John Sgarlata and James Bonds were present, and the developer director, David Siegel was absent. The Association received 1899 proxies, insufficient for the quorum requirement of 2104, 205 short.

Following a presentation by SPM management on the status of the resort and plans for the coming year. A question and answer discussion among the attendees and the board then took place, after which the meeting was adjourned.

Newsletter – Summer 2012

Excerpt from the newsletter:

Dear Fellow Owners:
The Board continues to be pleased with the status of the Resort. The building painting, window replacement, and elevator installation projects that we undertook in 2011 have all been successfully completed. The owner feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Another initiative that we undertook was the installation of a gas grill near Pool 4. This has been such a greatly used addition that we are evaluating other possible locations for additional grills. Of course, we do have charcoal grills available, as well. The building refurbishments have also progressed according to our five-year plan.

Blue Tree Resort Property Map

Owners frequently ask which buildings are managed by Westgate and which buildings are part of the association. This map shows all buildings on the resort property, with the Westgate buildings in gray.

Resort Painting Complete

One of the major reserve projects for 2011 is complete. Painting of the buildings began in mid-January and is now complete. Windows in the residential buildings were also replaced as part of the project. So far we have received many rave reviews on the new colors. Exterior painting is performed every 10 years as part of resort maintenance.
